A 9-person fintech team cut their email bounce rate from 28 percent to 1.4 percent and tripled their reply rate in 60 days.
A nine-person fintech startup was running outbound to a 6,000-name list pieced together from three different data vendors. Email bounce rate was sitting at 28 percent. Their email provider had already throttled their domain twice. Reply rate hovered at under one percent.
We rebuilt the list from scratch. We pulled fresh contacts from four different sources, ran each email through two verification tools, and added decision-maker mapping so each account had three to four contacts instead of one. The new list was 4,200 verified names. Bounce rate dropped to 1.4 percent. Reply rate tripled. The domain warmed back up, and the team got two months of clean sending before the next refresh.
